Book Nerds Unite! is an online collaboration tool for friends to read and review books. Its purpose is to help motivate you to read and share your thoughts with others.
For 2008, a reading list has been decided by the administrators: 2 books per month covering a variety of genres, with a focus on classic fiction. Future years’ lists may be decided jointly by all members, should this site grow.
There are two major types of posts here: Discussion and Final Review
Discussion Posts
These introduce the book with a brief description and links to Amazon. While reading the book, please regularly comment on the Discussion post to add your thoughts. Let us know what you think of the plot and characters as the book unfolds. Post every chapter if you like! Be sure to post your progress (# of pages / chapters) with each comment though.
Final Review Posts
These are created at the end of the month after the assigned books have been finished. This is where all the users can add their final thoughts, reviews and fabulous Star Ratings for the book.
So go ahead and register - then read, comment, and have fun!
